Area Sales Manager (Automotive Aftermarket) - JSL0419/011

Location: Central England to South Wales. 

Salary:£29k basic, £40K+ OTE, vehicle, pension, PHI & life insurance. 

Do you have experience in selling tools and garage equipment or have a desire to further your career within the automotive aftermarket by joining a premium supplier of tools and garage workshop equipment into the automotive aftermarket? Our client has been a market leader in manufacturing and distributing tools for nearly 100 years. The brand is well known worldwide as a guarantee of quality products, service and real value for money. They are a market leader in the supply of specialist automotive tools and hand held diagnostic equipment.

Their products are available through all major distributor groups in both the automotive and industrial sectors in the UK, and are also available through specialist distribution partners in most countries Worldwide.

The Role

They are looking for an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow the Central England and South Wales region.

The role will be a mix between growing the range and breadth of products within existing motor factors and winning new business in those accounts who know the brand but as yet are not a customer.

Additionally, to add value to the customer, workouts with the motor factor sales team will also be a key element of the role.

·Sales experience within the automotive aftermarket is essential

·Tenacious, resilient and ambitious

·Inquisitive and curious nature with an ability to ask the right questions

·Excellent rapport builder

·Problem solver with a desire to add value to their customer’s business

·A good listener who can tailor a solution to the customer’s needs

·Commercially astute
