Area Sales Manager wanted to work with and grow defined Automotive Aftermarket buying group customers within the North of the UK for a highly successful manufacturer of automotive components with a global OE manufacturer and automotive aftermarket customer base.
They are continually investing in all areas of their business, which is highlighted in their year-on-year performance, which is far exceeding market performance.
The company will offer you a competitive salary of £40K - £45K, bonus, car allowance, 25 days holidays etc.
You will manage buying group members and large independent motor factors with the aim of increasing the share of account.
Ideally, you will have experience managing automotive aftermarket buying groups, IFA, RAPID, PDP, GSF and AAG, among others, or be from a motor factor background and understand the automotive aftermarket.
You will understand the complexities of negotiating with buying group head offices as well as account managing the respective members.
You will be prepared to travel as you will have well-established customers from Aberdeen to Whaley Bridge.
You will be based in the North, ideally on or North of the M62 corridor, as you will be responsible for growing existing accounts as well as seeking new opportunities in the North of England and Scotland.
