Business Development Manager Opportunity - Automotive (fleet management).
Are you a talented Business Development Manager passionate about selling complex and technical solutions?
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to introduce their products to potential customers and drive sales.
If you have previous experience in fleet management or vehicle CCTV systems, we want to hear from you!
The company will offer you a basic salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE) plus commission, Car Allowance etc.

A market-leading organisation with a proud record of manufacturing all products in-house within the UK. All products are designed, manufactured and distributed from their facility in Yorkshire.
They are leaders in fleet management and asset tracking; driver performance and risk insight; multi-camera and AI video telematics; real-time tachograph and compliance.
You:
A natural hunter/farmer for new business
Demonstrable ability to sell complex and technical solutions
Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills
Strong customer focus and identification skills
Ability to engage with customers to identify solutions
Proficient in identifying business through different networking channels
Strategic and analytical thinker
Ideally, you will be based in the Midlands, however, other areas will be considered for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
Develop specific plans for each solution to enable customer decisions
Collaborate with Head of Sales to improve market share in all product lines
Provide reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services
Achieve agreed sales targets within schedule
Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
Expedite the resolution of customer problems to maximise satisfaction
Manage own diary, and time, and provide weekly reports to Head of Sales
Requirements & Skills:
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices
Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven sales track record
Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong prioritising, time management, and organisational skills
Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations to audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
