Business Development Manager - Europe

Are you looking to further develop your sales career by joining an award winning supplier of industrial products into over 60 countries with a 40 year heritage?

Have you experience of selling Overhead line, Wind farm, Subsea, Offshore market related products?

Have you worked for a cable distributor or manufacturer / electrical distributor or wholesaler?

The company is experiencing unprecedented growth and have put the infrastructure in place to ensure that this is continued over the coming years.  

The Role

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for the given territory and the achievement of maximum profitability and growth with company vision and values.

A predetermined sales target for given territory will be assigned and key objectives set to increase in sales and profitability of the business by direct and indirect means.

  • Responsible for all target clients and existing customers within the given territory
  • To ensure that all enquiries and subsequent quotations are handled and submitted within a timely manner.
  • To follow up all quotations issued to existing & potential customers (distributors) within the given territory.

The Person

You will have extensive experience (5 Years Minimum) in business development selling into major contractors / distributors within the UK & Europe. 

You will have proven sales results in Europe, with a tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.

As the role invloves national and European coverage, travel will be required to be successful in the role.

The ability to analyse sales figures and write reports, present these findings in a professional and engaging manner.

Salary of £40K - £45K plus uncapped bonus

Audi A3 or similar (BMW) company car

Opportunity to be home based with travel into the North West based office.
