Our client is a leading supplier of premium Italian-made workshop storage, equipment, tools, and bespoke solutions for industrial applications. They are committed to innovative, high-quality solutions that meet the unique needs of their diverse customers.

They are now looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to establish and grow their premium brand in the UK and Ireland. 

Job Summary:

As the Area Sales Manager, you will launch and establish their premium brand in the UK and Ireland. You will have the autonomy to develop this brand from the ground up, identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and driving growth primarily in the workshop storage and equipment sectors. Your role will also include designing and selling custom-tailored solutions that meet their clients' individual requirements.

You will not be on your own. The company has an industry-leading brand already in the UK and has the infrastructure to support you in building a new one. You will report to the National Sales Manager, however, you will have the autonomy to grow the brand. 

The company will offer you a salary of between £45,000 - £50,000, a performance bonus, car and excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish the brand in the UK and Ireland from the ground up.
  • Develop new business relationships, identify prospects, and generate sales opportunities.
  • Execute a solution-selling approach, focusing on the specific needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and offer bespoke solutions.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive products.

You:

  • Experience in a business development or sales role, ideally within the workshop storage, tools, equipment, or capital equipment industries.
  • Proven track record in solution selling and brand development.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly driven and resilient.

Ideally, you will be based in the Midlands, however, consideration will be given to candidates anywhere in the UK.

This is not a role for somebody fazed by building a sales pipeline. This will involve you rolling up your sleeves and prospecting, presenting, and implementing!
