We are seeking a Customer Service Manager who will play a vital role in driving the customer experience strategy to improve the quality and speed of their customer services operations.
The company is a market-leading supplier of prestige car parts to a global customer base. This is mainly B2C, so you will have to expect a different type of conversation than takes place B2B.
The company ships 150 - 200 packages to a global customer base daily. Whilst they have a very low error rate, you will need to ensure they are tracked and dealt with appropriately.
As the Customer Service Manager, you will lead a team of 3 front-line staff and coach them to achieve exceptional customer service. You'll roll up your sleeves and get involved, responding to customer help desk tickets, working with suppliers to resolve issues, and controlling costs.
You'll review management information, drive measurable service improvements, and identify new growth opportunities. You'll build strong relationships with other stakeholders to optimise outcomes and ensure minimal failure costs. You'll also be the escalation point for customers unsatisfied with initial resolution proposals, always looking for ways to improve.
You'll need exceptional communication and negotiation skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and think on your feet.
You should be able to prioritise and plan your team's workload and be passionate about providing excellent customer service. A professional but flexible outlook and familiarity with up-to-date customer interaction methods such as web chat and bot are desirable.
