Hybrid working, 3 days office / 2 days from home

If you enjoy leading people, improving supply chain performance and having real influence over availability and forecasting, this is a role where your experience will genuinely matter.

This opportunity offers a mix of leadership, analysis and collaboration within a well-established international automotive aftermarket group. You will manage and develop a demand planning team while helping shape how the wider business forecasts, orders and works with suppliers.

You will also benefit from hybrid working, long-term progression and a benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.

You will work closely with product, purchasing, suppliers and customers, giving you visibility across the full supply chain and the opportunity to influence how processes evolve.

What you will be doing and why it matters

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop the demand planning team, improving capability, confidence and consistency
  • Oversee availability performance and KPI reporting so the business has clear visibility of results
  • Translate product group and supplier strategies into accurate, realistic forecasts
  • Work closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers to improve ordering and delivery performance
  • Review product group and supplier splits to ensure stock and receipts align with forecast demand
  • Encourage collaboration and process improvement across the business
  • Support HR activity around development, performance and progression of the team
  • Contribute to departmental and business targets alongside senior GCO leadership

Your leadership will directly improve availability, service levels and supply chain efficiency.

What you will bring

This role will suit you if you have:

  • Experience in demand planning within a complex supply chain
  • Previous experience managing or leading a team
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of Excel capability
  • Experience working with demand planning and ERP systems
  • The ability to analyse trends and turn insight into practical improvements
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally
  • A proactive, curious and solutions-focused mindset

What you get in return

  • £34,000 to £38,000 basic salary
  • Excellent bonus scheme
  • Hybrid working, 3 days office based and 2 days from home
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
  • Excellent pension scheme with Aviva
  • Staff purchase discount
  • Private healthcare after 3 years’ service
  • Life assurance at four times salary and income protection
  • Ongoing training, development and clear progression opportunities
  • A supportive, collaborative working culture
