Internal Sales Manager

Are you an internal sales manager looking to develop their career in a trusting, empowering and forward thing company?

We are working with a well established, highly successful and ambitious company who are looking to add an Internal Sales Manager to their team.

This is a new position so you will have a great opportunity to turn your vision of the role into reality.

You will have overall responsibility for the management, retention, training and growth of the existing internal account management and new business teams. You will be a natural leader, the type of individual that leads by example. You will be experienced in identifying and implementing structural and procedural change. An inspirational and energetic individual who the team will instinctively react and aspire to. Coaching, mentoring, training, and motivating are key facets of the position.

  • Manage the lead generation & new business development activities for the UK & EU.
  • High focus on developing existing clients, rapport building and product promotion.
  • Coach and develop the team of 10 – with regular reviews and the implementation of Personal Development Plans for each member of the team.

Established over 20 years ago, the company has seen average 20% year on year growth (Excl. 2020) for the last 5 years – tripling in size since 2015. Forward thinking, the company has invested heavily in the last 3 years with new offices and production capabilities that surmounted to an overall investment of £1M+.

32 employees, with an average age in the late 20’s. The culture has an informal, entrepreneurial vibe and although a management structure is in place – each team  member is personally empowered to strive to be the best they can be. New lead conversion is high, as is customer retention. The companies founding ethos is totally service lead.

Skills / Experience:

Strong experience of leading and coaching a team of internal sales / account managers as well as acting as a personal contributor.

An entrepreneurial outlook.

Well versed in Excel or other business intelligence software.

Excellent previous track record of B2B customer contact / sales in a fast-paced multi product sales environment at a similar level.

Strong Analytical & trend analysis skills.
