Our client is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of liquid screed with a highly successful trading history covering decades. 

They have a vacancy for a home-based Sales and Project Administrator to join their Marketing Team.

You will be responsible for identifying and tracking relevant business opportunities that will generate new revenue.

Ideally, you will have a marketing related qualification, with construction industry experience, be self-motivated and possess a keen eye for detail having prepared structured presentations and submissions.

This is a remote role and will be home-based. therefore you can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Role:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Organise CPD presentations for Architects & Specifiers and Specification managers.
  • Prospecting, generating and qualifying leads
  • Ensure specifications are held by tracking the project from the design phase to the installation phase
  • Achieving sales lead gen
  • Track opportunity pipeline using CRM software and provide concise and timely weekly/monthly sales lead generation activity reports to management
  • Contribute and participate in regional monthly sales meetings.
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently

Skills:

  • Ability to work on own initiative and self-motivated in identifying new business
  • Able to work closely with a small team
  • Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly competent in administrative skills and computer literacy / MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with key decision-makers
  • A high degree of accuracy required in detail and presentation

Experience:

  • Have up to 18 months of work experience working full time in a lead generation or internal sales role
  • Construction experience essential
  • Can demonstrate a track record of developing and converting business opportunity
  • Practical experience working within the construction products sector
  • Previous technical experience in sales within the construction sector is an advantage
  • Experience / Knowledge of Barbour ABI / NBS / CRM Systems
