Our client is a dominant player in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution, striking a fine balance across Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket sectors. They  have robust relationships with global OEMs and a deep focus on the global vehicle parc. As pioneers in combustion technologies and chassis systems, they also lead the way in green fuels and hydrogen combustion. 

We're on the lookout for a passionate Senior Category Manager to champion our client's product portfolio, particularly for the Northern Europe region. This role involves a strategic collaboration with the Regional Marketing Manager to craft strategies that fit the business needs. We're talking about devising competitive range/price offerings, gaining competitor data, enhancing their offering, and coordinating their pricing process.

You will be a savvy market analyst who can comprehend the ins and outs of the competition and keep up with market trends. You should be customer-centric and deeply understand who your customers are and what they value. In essence, you'll be their customer expert.

You'll also be the engine behind their demand creation. You'll adapt their go-to-market strategy within the region, define and implement an action plan to seize sales pipeline opportunities and lead the launch of new products into the market.

As the Senior Category Manager, your creativity will be put to the test. You'll be in charge of implementing regional communication and content marketing plans and crafting region-specific materials and content to boost customer engagement. You'll also develop promotional plans to increase brand awareness and market share growth.

You'll be driving revenue and profitability results and ensuring market share growth for the category. This involves understanding key financial and economic indicators, defining and owning the region's price position, and leading the regional annual price review.

You'll also be involved in demand planning and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the demand forecasting process and training and empowering customer-facing teams.

In return, the company will offer you a salary of £48,000 - £53,000, bonus, 25 days holidays, additional pension contributions, and hybrid working (2 days in the office).
