What are you looking for in your next Supply Chain Manager role?

Are you looking to move from a slow-paced traditional environment into a market-leading internet business with a global customer base?

Do you want to be accountable for all supply chain activities in a market leading automotive parts company with a global customer base? 

The Supply Chain Manager with this market leader will involve parts master data, stock ordering, supplier liaison/inbound goods, warehousing and transport.

You will ideally come from an automotive parts background, however, consideration will be given to you if you have come from a parts distribution business.

You will be tasked with improving the supply chain process.

This is a more complex role where you will receive a few containers a week and despatch a few containers a week. You will oversee 150 - 200 packages coming inbound from various suppliers. In addition, you will also handle 150 - 200 packages being despatched to a global customer base.   

You will enjoy managing people as you will have ten direct reports, a Warehouse Team and a team member responsible for supplier liaison.

Are you somebody who likes to improve your team and environment? The good news, you will set objectives, supervise and provide leadership to the team, directing, delegating, coaching, developing, and challenging and supporting them to deliver the best outcomes.

The company has a culture of empowerment so you will feel comfortable empowering the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.

You will manage parts inventory for sale, other consumables such as packaging materials and other tools that the team require to carry out their roles effectively.

You will enjoy working with suppliers to reduce your typical supply chain issues.

In return, the company will offer you a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits.
