Do you want to lead a channel for a genuine global leading OE manufacturer within the automotive industry?

We are recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to develop the sales strategy for the local Special Applications OE Sales channel.

You will collaborate with their central Sales & R&D teams to ensure they're giving you all the backup you need.   

The end goal? Ensure they hit their financial targets and keep the business strategy on point in the UK & Ireland.

You won't be doing it alone. You'll direct remote and on-site sales support initiatives, partnering with their dedicated sales teams locally and centrally.

As the Technical Sales Manager, what will the company offer?

A competitive basic salary of c£60,000, bonus, car and all the benefits you would expect from a global market leader.

This is a position that will be demanding, however, you will have a great team and, of course, the brand to support and help all the way.

You will have experience in developing and executing sales strategies and regional annual budgets. 

Development and implementation of regional sales growth plans, including strategic methods for business growth and management of business metrics, will be second nature to you.

You will thrive when engaging in high-level product demonstrations and presentations, communicating the value proposition of the company’s products and services.

You will provide strategic insight into market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to influence the company’s sales strategy and product development at a central level.

Of course, you will enjoy developing your team. You will lead from the front and set the example rather than an autocratic manager who will not lead by actions but by orders.

You will be technical in that you will be comfortable steering the customer-related product development measures and project setups.

Account management, will come natural to you. You will be understand what is needed to ensure that you increase your share of account with some of the largest trailer, bus, coach, commercial vehicle manufacturers in the UK & Ireland. 

Ideally, you will be based in and around the South West, however, consideration will be given to those who live in the UK with the right skills and experience.
