Our client is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of liquid screed with decades-long trading history.

Due to its continued expansion, it is recruiting for an enthusiastic and ambitious Technical Specifications Manager to join its market-leading team.

This is a field-based role suited to a highly motivated and focused person. Working for a long-established family organisation, the ideal person will act as the point of contact for existing and prospective clients, working with them to develop and expand its growing business in London and inside the M25 Area.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ability to work on technical specifications, present CPD’s, attend tradeshows and other sales related activities associated with the industry
• Manage and build strong relationships with its current Channel Partners and Screeders
• Achieve pre-agreed Sales Targets through sourcing and fostering new and existing business opportunities and associations
• Have a strong understanding of the product range to provide technical support, information and guidance based on customer requirements

You

• Experience with construction specifications in the London market / Screeds / Self Compacting Concrete/ Concrete Technology with 5 years plus experience
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in on-site technical support
• Strong presentation and communication skills and aims to solve problems and find solutions
• Has experience in the specification sales process
• Team player who can build strong relationships with different kinds of people
• Highly motivated with a customer-focused outlook
• IT proficient in Microsoft Windows (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM packages.
• Full clean driving licence

In return, as the Technical Specifications Manager, you will be offered a competitive salary of between £50,000 to £60,000,DOE, and the opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic, exciting and expanding business.
