The role
As a Workshop Technician, you will work as part of an experienced team carrying out mechanical repair, overhaul and assembly work on specialist equipment. Your work will be varied, practical and important, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of critical assets.
This is a workshop-based position with no shift work and no weekend working.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for:
Carrying out mechanical strip, inspection, repair and rebuild work
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs in line with specifications and work instructions
Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and compliance standards
Completing job documentation accurately and on time
Supporting planned maintenance and overhaul activities
Working closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times
