Are you currently working for a motor factor, distributor or aftermarket supplier and looking for a career step that gives you more ownership and long-term development?

Want to join a business where your knowledge of parts, cataloguing and product data can directly influence growth and customer experience?

Why Apply?

  • Genuine long-term career development opportunities

The Opportunity

I’m working with one of the UK's leading automotive aftermarket manufacturers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong automotive parts background who wants to move beyond day-to-day parts identification and into a broader product-focused role.

You could currently be working as a Parts Advisor, Product Specialist, Assistant Branch Manager, Internal Sales Executive or in a similar aftermarket position.

What matters is your understanding of automotive parts and your desire to develop into a commercially focused Product Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and cataloguing products for range development and expansion
  • Supporting product development and range optimisation projects
  • Managing catalogue accuracy and improving customer experience through better product data
  • Using OE/OES EPC systems and cataloguing platforms to support product management activity
  • Supporting Sales teams with technical product insight and cross-referencing information
  • Conducting range reviews, gap analysis and product rationalisation activities
  • Working closely with Technical, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales teams
  • Contributing to product lifecycle management from introduction through to end of life

About You

This role will suit you if you:

  • Have experience within the automotive aftermarket
  • Have worked for a motor factor, distributor, supplier or manufacturer
  • Understand automotive parts identification and cataloguing processes
  • Have experience using EPC systems and aftermarket cataloguing platforms
  • Enjoy analysing information and solving problems
  • Want to move into a more strategic and commercially focused role
  • Are motivated by learning, development and career progression

Experience with TecDoc, MAM/Autocat or similar cataloguing systems would be highly beneficial.
