Type: Permanent

Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor
£33,400 – £40,900 + bonus + up to 8% pension contribution

If you enjoy helping people grow, this role gives you the time, support and stability to do it properly. You will have the freedom to focus on developing apprentices rather than firefighting, with strong long term security and genuine investment in your development. This is a role where you can build a meaningful career while helping others build theirs.

You will work in an environment that values quality over volume, supports flexible working and gives you the tools to deliver training you can be proud of.

What you will do and why it matters
In this role, you will guide apprentices through their learning journey and help them turn knowledge into real world capability. Your work will directly shape future talent and improve outcomes for both learners and employers.

You will:
Deliver engaging training using classroom, online and practical methods so learners stay motivated and confident
Plan and manage learning activity so apprentices progress on time and achieve their targets
Build trusted relationships with apprentices and employers, helping them overcome challenges early
Support wellbeing and safeguarding so learners feel safe, supported and able to perform
Track progress accurately so everyone knows where they stand and what comes next
Lead gateway reviews and support end point assessments to help learners succeed
Step in early when someone is struggling, creating clear and practical improvement plans
Work closely with colleagues to maintain high quality standards and compliance
Keep your own skills up to date so your teaching remains relevant and engaging

What you will gain
£33,400 to £40,900 salary, giving financial stability and recognition for your expertise
Excellent bonus scheme that rewards your contribution and results
Up to 8 per cent pension contribution to help build long term financial security
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising with service, so you can properly switch off
Flexible working options to help balance work and personal life
Ongoing training and funded development so you continue to grow professionally
Access to wellbeing support to help you stay healthy and supported
Employee discounts and additional benefits that add everyday value
A supportive culture where your ideas are heard and your contribution matters

What you bring
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy coaching, mentoring and supporting others
You have experience in a relevant vocational or technical area
You hold or are willing to work towards assessor or training qualifications
You have Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
You are organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple learners
You communicate clearly and build trust quickly
You are confident using digital systems to track progress and documentation

About the organisation
You will be joining a global organisation known for innovation, quality and long term investment in people. Their focus on developing talent means you will be supported, trusted and encouraged to grow while helping others do the same.

If you want a role where your work genuinely makes a difference, where you are supported rather than stretched, and where your career has room to grow, this could be the right next step.

Apply now and Stewart Lupton at JSL Solutions will be in touch to talk it through. Alternatively, call Stewart on 07763004067.
