Depot Manager – Shefford

£45,000 – £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you ready to take charge of a busy depot and lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence?

This is your chance to step into a Depot Manager role where you’ll have real ownership — leading warehouse and customer service teams, driving performance, and making key decisions that shape daily operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and motivating your team to increase service levels and ensure efficiency

  • Overseeing warehouse and customer service operations, making sure KPIs are met and exceeded

  • Driving stock management, stock takes, and implementing improvements where needed

  • Working with logistics partners (own fleet and external hauliers) to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries

  • Supporting and coaching your team to deliver excellent customer service and maximise sales opportunities

  • Ensuring health & safety standards are met, with compliance at the heart of everything you do

What we’re looking for

  • 2–4 years’ management experience in distribution, logistics, automotive aftermarket (AAG, GSF, LKQ, MPD etc) or a related environment

  • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and deliver results

  • Strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS), stock control, and KPI-driven performance

  • Experience of change management or digital transformation would be a real advantage

  • A customer-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
