Team Manager – Demand Planning
£34,000 to £38,000 + excellent bonus + strong benefits
Hybrid working, 3 days office / 2 days from home

The opportunity

As Team Manager – Demand Planning, you will lead a team responsible for demand forecasting and availability performance across the group. Your focus is to ensure the business has accurate forecasts, clear insight and joined-up communication between teams, customers and suppliers.

This is a role where your leadership improves decision-making, reduces stock risk and strengthens service levels.


What you will do and what you will achieve

  • Lead and develop the demand planning team, improving consistency, capability and confidence
  • Drive availability performance against KPIs, giving the business clearer control of service levels
  • Turn product and supplier strategies into realistic, accurate forecasts
  • Improve collaboration between demand planning, purchasing, suppliers and customers
  • Identify trends and issues early, allowing corrective action before performance is impacted
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and improve outcomes
  • Play a key role in developing people through coaching, performance reviews and progression planning

Your work will directly improve forecasting accuracy, customer availability and overall supply chain performance.


What you will bring

  • Experience in demand planning within a structured supply chain environment
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
  • Confidence using ERP or demand planning systems
  • The ability to translate data into clear actions and improvements
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
