The Opportunity

You'll join a global automotive technology business with a strong reputation for innovation, quality and technical expertise.

Rather than simply selling products, you'll work closely with distributors (motor factors) and customers to strengthen relationships, improve performance and identify opportunities for growth. Your ability to understand customer challenges and connect them with the right solutions will directly influence business performance and customer loyalty.

This is a highly visible role where your ideas, initiative and commercial awareness will make a genuine difference.

What You Will Do and What You Will Achieve

You will:

  • Build and develop strong relationships with distributor partners, helping them grow sales and increase customer loyalty
  • Support existing customers while identifying new opportunities to increase business within your territory
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, logistics and technical teams to deliver the best possible customer experience
  • Provide valuable market intelligence and competitor insights that help shape future strategy
  • Present new products, programmes and business opportunities to customers with confidence
  • Support trade events, customer meetings and promotional activities across your region
  • Use data, digital tools and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Maintain accurate reporting and account information through CRM systems

Your success will be measured not only by sales growth, but by the strength of the relationships you build and the value you create for customers.

What We're Looking For

You may already be working in a business development, account management or field sales role within the automotive aftermarket.

Alternatively, you could come from a customer-facing commercial position and be looking for your next challenge.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience building relationships within the automotive aftermarket
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Good commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and business processes

Automotive aftermarket experience would be beneficial but attitude, curiosity and relationship-building ability are equally important.
