We have an opportunity for you to shape future growth as the Pricing and Product Manager - Commercial Vehicle of this market-leading aftermarket multinational.

In this critical role, you will fully own the commercial vehicle product offering, setting the tone for pricing, product management, and sales development. It's an exciting chance to make your mark and steer the future direction of their product strategy.

What you'll be doing:

Price Management

You'll be the one to maximise profitability while maintaining a competitive local price position. This involves everything from creating and implementing market pricing strategies to collaborating with key stakeholders. An eye for detail will come in handy as you maintain up-to-date pricing on SAP and create pricing structures for new-in-range products.

Product Management

You'll be flexing your strategic muscles, aiding the business with profitability and keeping their product offerings fresh and relevant. You'll be conceptualising and implementing product strategies for the commercial vehicle sector, contributing to product line campaigns, and liaising with the sales team to ensure their strategies are a big hit.

Reporting

This isn't for the faint-hearted as you'll contribute to strategic planning by providing solid facts, statistics, and professional opinions to the management team.

Here's a snapshot of your key duties and responsibilities as the Pricing and Product Manager - Commercial Vehicles:

  1. Designing, executing, and successfully delivering market pricing strategies for all commercial vehicle products
  2. Ensuring market intelligence is captured, collated and used to develop product pricing strategies
  3. Reviewing profitability following cost price or exchange rate fluctuations
  4. Preparing customer tenders
  5. Designing, executing, and successfully delivering product strategies for all commercial vehicle products
  6. Introducing new products, including price recommendation, stocking policy, packing unit proposal and kit vs component strategy.
  7. Managing product lifecycle, including de-ranging and review of kit & component offerings
  8. Reviewing competitor offers, gap analysis and cross-referencing.

The management team is dynamic, innovative and industry respected. 

No one day will be the same. You will have to be focused, hard-working and very organised to be successful in the role.

In return, the company will offer you a basic salary of £45,000, 10% bonus, 25 days holidays and hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).
