The Role

As a Defence Purchasing Administrator, you’ll ensure the smooth flow of materials and components that support Defence, Plant, and Reman operations.

You’ll work closely with suppliers, production, and logistics teams to keep projects on track and materials available when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing daily purchasing of components, materials, and consumables.
• Forecasting material requirements and aligning orders with production schedules.
• Monitoring stock levels and addressing any supply issues early.
• Building and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
• Supporting MRP management and inventory control.
• Ensuring compliance with all documentation, delivery notes, and QHSE processes.
• Providing admin support to the Key Account and Repair Managers.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain administration.
• Strong organisation, communication, and time management skills.
• Confidence using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive, detail-driven mindset with a focus on solutions.

It’s a bonus if you also have:

• Experience within Defence or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Familiarity with inventory and forecasting tools.
